Robert McQuade married Lizzie Nicholl in 1896 in Trinity Church Rathmines Dublin, daughter of J H Nicholl of Kingscourt Cellar Place Nobber Co Meath. Lizzie was a widow - her first husband was George Donnelly and they also had a son George
Robert McQuade graduated from Trinity College Dublin MA and moved to Bethesda in North Wales where he was an engineer. He married Lizzie in 1896 and his son Cecil Emyrs McQuade was born in Farrar Rd Upper Ban North Wales on 21/04/1897. Robert
then entered the ministry of the Church of Ireland. |

Robert and Lizzie had a son Cecil Emrys McQuade, born 21/04/1897. Cecil became a doctor and was in the Royal Navy. He lived at Harcourts Chertsey Surrey. Cecil married Rosalind Anne Burke born 11 Aug 1899 in 1926 They had 2 children. Cecil died in 1984
