Norah was born in Glenafton Welchtown Stranorlar Donegal in 1909. She was the daughter of WHH Donaldson a well known farmer. She took up the responsibility of adding to the family scrapbook which she maintained until 1993.

Nora later moved to live with her aunt Frances at Arleston House, vicarage for Lislimanaghan Church Omagh, Co Tyrone The vicar was Canon Arthur McQuade who took up the position ini1914.

Norah corresponded with many family members and was loved by all She died at Portnoo, Dublin Rd Omagh in 1998
