The town of Kilmacthomas is built on the steep slopes on either sides of the River Mahon and is reached by turning left off the main N 25 Dungarvan to Waterford Road. The town has a population of twelve hundred people, and it's main attraction is its waterfall, the beautiful Mahon Falls..
