The picture above is a mystery -
Could it be connected to the coachsmiths, John & Thomas, sons of John & Catherine from Balmain?
Or their cousin Mary Ann who was the daughter of James McCaskie & Mary Lapsley?
Mary Ann who married Joseph Davison in 1885 in Leichhardt - they owned a hotel in Newtown - they also owned horses & coaches, which carried passengers from Newton & Botany to their hotel "Sir Joseph Banks". Mary Ann was very proud of the cushions & bobble curtains she made to decorate the coaches Could this coach belong to Mary Ann & Joseph Davison? John and his family lived in Sydney, Balmain district. 
John was mentioned in "Australian Men of Mark", page 44 Volume 2 & appendix by Charles F. Maxwell, 1888   -
"a considerable property-holder in Balmain, and his business is in a flourishing condition"
